The official name of China is
China is the most populated country in the world, with approximately 1,330,000,000 people. It is the third largest country in the world, and two of the world’s largest rivers are entirely within China.
Their main language is Chinese, and the chief dialect is Mandarin.
The official form of government is People’s Republic, but the government is controlled by the Communist party.
I have decided for my glog/blog about China, I will write about human rights violations committed by the government. Specifically how the government is treating Christians.
In China there is no freedom of speech and no freedom of the press, there is a saying in China, “Do what you please, as long as you please the communist party”.
In the official Communist English-Chinese dictionary “freedom, liberty” is explained with series of definition, 1. “The citizen of China enjoy freedom of speech, correspondence, the press, assembly, fassociation, procession, demonstration, and freedom of strike”; 2) “the ideas of educated people must not be allowed to spread unchecked”; 3)”Petty, educated, individualistic desire to avoid discipline”; 4)”Liberalism is extremely harmful in a revolutionary collective”; 5)”We can’t decode this matter for ourselves; we must the leadership for instructions.” (Source: “Riding the Iron Rooster” by Paul Theroux)
